Taylored Tax LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
This policy applies to our website at tayloredtax.ai, our podcast, our calculators, and any related communications.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Email address: When you subscribe to our newsletter through Beehiiv, we collect the email address you provide.
- Booking information: When you schedule a discovery meeting through Calendly, we receive your name, email, and any information you include in the booking form.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data: We use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with our website. This includes pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, referring URL, and general geographic location. PostHog assigns a session identifier to track your visit.
- Font loading: We use Google Fonts (Inter) to display text on our site. Google may log your IP address when fonts are loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Information we do not collect
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit the financial numbers you enter into any calculator on our site.
2. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- PostHog analytics: PostHog sets cookies to identify unique visitors and track sessions. These cookies help us understand which pages are most useful and where visitors drop off. You can opt out of PostHog tracking by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.
- Calendly: When you open our scheduling widget, Calendly may set its own cookies to manage the booking experience.
- Simplecast: Our podcast player embeds (powered by Simplecast) may set cookies for playback functionality.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not use retargeting pixels.

- Newsletter subscribers: Your email is retained by Beehiiv until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: PostHog retains session data according to our retention settings, typically 12 months.
- Booking data: Calendly retains your booking information per their data retention policy.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Unsubscribe from our newsletter
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you will be removed from our mailing list immediately.
Request data deletion
You may request that we delete any personal information we hold about you. Email us at terrence@tayloredtax.ai with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and we will process your request within 30 days.
Opt out of analytics
You can enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings to opt out of PostHog tracking. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser's privacy settings.
7. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

8. Children's Privacy
Our website, podcast, and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at terrence@tayloredtax.ai and we will delete it promptly.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
